1. Who we are

COSDENT Co., Ltd. (“COSDENT”, “we”, “us”) operates cosmetic dental clinics in Bangkok, Thailand, and the website cosdentsmiledesign.com. We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA) and, for patients in the European Economic Area and UK, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we collect

• Identity and contact details: name, email, phone, LINE or WhatsApp ID, country of residence.

• Health data you choose to share: dental photos, X-rays, medical history and treatment preferences.

• Travel details: arrival dates, accommodation and passport name for package bookings.

• Website data: cookies, device and usage information (see our Cookie Policy).

3. Why we use your data

• To answer enquiries and provide free online consultations.

• To plan, deliver and follow up your dental treatment.

• To arrange bookings, transfers and accommodation in packages.

• To send promotions, only where you have given consent.

• To meet legal, medical record-keeping and accounting obligations.

4. Legal basis

We process health data only with your explicit consent or where required to provide medical care. Other data is processed to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations, or for our legitimate interests such as improving our services. You can withdraw consent at any time.

5. Sharing your data

We never sell your data. We share it only with dentists and staff involved in your care, dental laboratories, trusted service providers (hosting, messaging, payment, travel partners) bound by confidentiality, and authorities when required by law. Where data is transferred outside Thailand, we use appropriate safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

Medical and treatment records are kept for the period required by Thai medical regulations. Enquiry data that does not lead to treatment is deleted within 24 months. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

• Access and receive a copy of your data.

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

• Request deletion or anonymisation.

• Object to or restrict processing, including direct marketing.

• Data portability.

• Lodge a complaint with Thailand’s PDPC or your local data protection authority.
